Le Terroriste noir est une fiction construite autour de la véritable histoire, aussi méconnue qu'extraordinaire, d'Addi Bâ. Addi Bâ est un jeune Guinéen né vers 1916, adopté en France à l'âge de 13 ans, et qui, devenu soldat pendant la Seconde Guerre, est affecté dans le 12e régiment des tirailleurs sénégalais. Capturé après la bataille de la Meuse, Addi s'évade, erre dans les forêts, avant d'être recueilli par le maire du village de Romaincourt. Élégant et mystérieux, à la fois austère et charmeur, il y fera sensation, mais ce n'est qu'un début : en 1942, il entre en contact avec la Résistance et crée le premier maquis des Vosges. Les Allemands le surnommeront « le terroriste noir ».
L'affaire est racontée 60 ans plus tard, dans un français mâtiné de patois vosgien, par celle qui n'était qu'une jeune fille à l'époque ; c'est chez ses parents que le tirailleur venait écouter Radio-Londres, c'est chez eux qu'il prenait ses repas et faisait laver son linge. Qui a trahi Addi Bâ ? Une de ses nombreuses amantes ? Un collabo professionnel ? Ou tout simplement la rivalité opposant les Tergoresse et les Rapenne, deux familles aux haines séculaires ? Parce qu'il était noir, ce combattant de la France libre n'a reçu la médaille de la Résistance qu'en 2003, soit 60 ans après son exécution.

Biographie de l'auteur : Né en Guinée en 1947, Tierno Monénembo a reçu le prix Renaudot pour son dernier roman, Le Roi de Kahel (2008). Son oeuvre, comprenant une dizaine d'ouvrages principalement ancrés dans l'histoire du pays peul, est une des plus importantes de la littérature africaine d'aujourd'hui.

The We and the I by (follow the link to IMDb), the film by Michel Gondry on the Bronx is playing in movie theaters now. Just back from New York where I spent a day in the Bronx, it felt like home to see this touching film about youths becoming individuals after a long bus ride and the disappearance of the safety in the group. There is humor, pathos and beauty in this film and you ride the bus with them for better and for worse. Don't miss it.

I loved his Miles retrospective, complete with listening rooms, sparkling horns and car, fringe jacket too, filled with the spirit of the one and only Miles Davis, demonstrating his musical genius that changed jazz and how it is made forever.

LAFIAC.COM is a cybersquatting, the goal is to hijack the attention which arouses the International Fair of Contemporary Art to bring to light the French and international online creation. The presented works are not salable, but are a part of a very present reality. We think, as such, that they deserve the biggest interest. LAFIAC.com is an online exhibition which takes place every year since 2010. Accessible from October 18th, 2012 at: www.LaFiac.com. The exhibition seeks to highlight Net Art creation, proposing to unite around a common interface different generations of artists who use Internet as a medium.
